Cineflock CEO tapped as Virsocom Chief Operating Officer

A recent partnership with Krish Capital Group start-up Virsocom (Virtual Social Commerce) has resulted in Cineflock CEO Jay Hirschfeld being named the cutting-edge Social Commerce venture's Chief Operating Officer.

As COO, Jay will be responsible for production of the company's fully immersive media requirements, ranging from web-based HD video production/compositing to high-resolution virtual product photography and display. Cineflock's resources will be invaluable in providing Virsocom with innovative, technologically efficient media solutions to help ensure the project's success.

Be on the lookout for proof of concept of Virsocom's flagship platform, arriving early summer, 2010.

Jay Hirschfeld receives Merit Award in PhotoSpiva 2010

Cineflock CEO Jay Hirschfeld was recognized with a Merit Award at the 34th Annual PhotoSpiva 2010 Juried Photography Competition for the roughly 380 mega-pixel, HDR image 'Abandoned Pumping Station near Millburn, NJ'. The piece, measuring roughly 35" x 90" was framed on location in Joplin, Missouri for the show, on display at the George A. Spiva Center for the Arts March 6-April 25, 2010.

The first of a limited edition of 10, the print was selected as one of 84 from over 900 entries. A complete list of the winners can be found here.
